Large Louis Philippe mirror

Large louis philippe style mirror in blackened wood and plaster, it has a gold relief decoration, it is from the circa period. The louis philippe style is recognizable, it is sober, the patterns and ornaments are few in number and the lines are slightly rounded, it prepares the coming of the napoleon III style. The mercury glass is surrounded by a golden beaded gallery, it has some pitting in places this mirror has benefited from a major restoration because there was a lot of missing which explains the irregularities at the bottom, but the whole remains in very good condition. Good condition because this mirror dates from the end of the 19th century. The back is shaped with original parquet flooring which was used to protect the mercury, an iron link allows it to be suspended if necessary. This old mirror patinated by time has retained all the charm of its experience, it will make a beautiful vintage decoration whether it is placed on a wall or on the floor inside your home.
