Vintage pewter jug with leather handle by Gunnar Havstad Norway 1950s

Lovely and classic norwegian pewter jug/pitcher designed and made by gunnar havstad (b.1901 - d. 1973) from his own pewter workshop/studio in nesodden (established 1928), norway 1950s. A special design jug with leatherband wrapped handle and top lid with a hook shaped lid handle. Perfect and special jug or just great as an decorative object. Good vintage condition and nice pewter patina. Signed underneath havstad - pewter norway. Measures: 35cmh X 10cmd X 16.5cm deep incl handle.
