Neo-renaissance bench in carved walnut. This beautiful sofa is richly decorated with flowers, leaves, shells, griffins and chimeras that are enhanced by the rich patina that has developed over the years. The seat has been reupholstered in a beautiful water-green fabric with subtle notes of blue, jade and gold. A rare and extraordinary piece from the mid-1800s. Apart from a small historical lack on the edge of one of the carved sides, as seen in the photos, this piece is in superb condition for its age. Seat height: 45 cm.
