Rattan chair, 1960s

Rattan chair dating from the 1960s composed of a thick rattan structure forming a square-shaped back and seat and several spacers allowing the legs to be connected and the seat to be solidified. All these rattan elements are connected by woven rattan cord. To form the seat and back, several thinner rattan rods arranged vertically create the framing base. Solid and stable, this chair in very good general condition has only half a missing rattan on the seat which does not change in any way its comfort and solidity and has very few traces of time since we have faded them with wax to tint. Indoors or outdoors, this chair will find its place in any type of decoration and will bring a vintage and spring touch. Seat height, h45 cm.
