Table lamp, desk lamp with large adjustable shade, mid-century vintage style

Large, sturdy desk lamp in Bauhaus style. Based on its plug, it probably dates from the 1930s. The lamp is covered with a shimmering golden bronze hammered paint and is entirely made of metal. Its large dome-shaped shade diffuses a bright and pleasantly non-dazzling light, and its construction is very solid. The dome-shaped base, also painted, houses the push-button switch. The lamp is in good original condition for its age, with visible surface wear; the electrical components are original. This table lamp is ideal as a desk lamp or as a decorative element on a chest of drawers. The electrical plug can be replaced on request with a modern American or European plug. Height: about 35 cm.
