Vase Count Ortenburg 635/15, Germany, 1970s

Original ceramic vase produced in the 1970s by the Gräflich Ortenburg factory, located in Tambach, West Germany. Model 635/15. Its compact and slightly curved shape is covered with an intense red glaze, accented by fine darker horizontal lines. The variations in transparency and the subtle crackled texture add a lot of depth to the colour. A characteristic piece of German ceramics from the 1970s and the West German Pottery aesthetic. The underside bears the factory's stamped mark as well as the reference 635/15. In good vintage condition. No visible chips or cracks. The slight irregularities and variations in the glaze are due to the manufacturing process and are part of the original decor. Height: 15 cm. Opening diameter: 5.5 cm. Maximum diameter: 8.5 cm.
