Vintage wicker basket

Large vintage wicker basket that certainly had a specific use. Two handles likely allowed it to be carried by two people. Initials have been painted in black on each side of the basket (f.b). Under the f, it can be seen that there was an a before that has been erased to make way for the f. Certainly following an inheritance, a transmission, the son modified his father's initial to that of his own name. Unfortunately, I do not know the story, but there is certainly one. You can use it for decoration and store all sorts of things, cushions, throws, blankets, children's toys. It's up to you to choose. The basket is in its original condition, marked by worms, and it has imperfections and irregularities that give it a charm that one never tires of. Total dimensions: Height with handles: 58cm.
