Game table in mahogany, 19th century

Elegant mahogany game table in the Napoleon III style, dating from the second half of the 19th century. Its rectangular top, with beautiful natural grain patterns of mahogany, unfolds to form a square top, revealing a playing surface covered with green felt. The piece rests on a richly carved central base, consisting of a fluted shaft radiating from a square base finished with four sculpted lion paw feet. The apron is also adorned with an elegant carved floral decoration. A particularly decorative model, combining elegance, quality of craftsmanship, and functionality, ideal as a game, card, or occasional table.
