Oil on canvas depicting colourful birds in a tree, a theme dear to the Haitian painter Decourcelle Gourgue, born in 1927 in Port-au-Prince, well-known in the United States where his works are mainly sold. He passed away in 2006. Late 1960s. The canvas is beautifully framed in a guilloché wooden frame from the same period. Very good condition. Canvas size: 39.5 cm X 18.5 cm. Frame: 53 cm X 32.7 cm.
