Convenient pine workshop furniture

Old workshop furniture or large chest of drawers from the first half of the 20th century. This piece of furniture is made up of 6 drawers topped with ornate cast iron shell handles. Very nice details on the drawers. Pretty moldings and cutouts on these and on the sides of the furniture, dressing the whole thing in a very refined way. This piece of furniture has been completely restored, sanded, treated then protected with a transparent matte varnish, interior and exterior. We can see that this piece of furniture seems to come from a much larger piece of furniture - a large sideboard or counter. As was done at the time, it seems to have been “cut” to make a smaller piece of furniture. Thus one of its side faces has a plywood part, barely visible overall.
