Here is a very pretty earthenware plate known as "terre de fer" with a fine floral decoration in a blue colour slightly leaning towards green. The stamp of the Saint-Amand and Hamage factory on the back also informs us that it features the decoration called "Printanier". This plate dates from the first half of the 20th century. It could still be used on a table, but it has the "normal" patina, the wear of a plate that is probably over 100 years old. However, for me, its purpose now is decorative, on a piece of furniture, on a wall, alone or in a collection, thus it will remain a testament to an era for decades to come without further damage. It is therefore in generally good condition, with no cracks or chips, but it does not hide its age with small scratches and stains on the visible face, two small nicks on the rim, and stains and discolouration on the back. It measures 21.5 cm in diameter with a maximum height of 2.5 cm at the rim.
