Round Mirror With Ribbon Crest And Portrait Of Lady In Golden Metal

Period: ca. Mid 20th century this round mirror has a crest featuring a medallion with the portrait of a lady in profile and this is surrounded by ribbons. The top sides and bottom of the mirror have scrolling arms that extend across the mirror surface; these were executed in a style resembling art nouveau. The thin band framing the mirror is in brass while the ornaments are in gold metal. The style of the mirror has a late 19th century appearance, but I believe it is a more modern production. Condition: good. The glass is perfect. Dimensions: 42 cm high with ridges, 29.5 cm wide, 2 cm deep, 1.3 kg.
