Artisanal water butter maker in navy blue enamelled stoneware

I offer you a butter maker in navy blue enamelled sandstone and in perfect condition (just a shade of blue barely lighter on part of the enamelling of the lid, visible in the photos). True ancestor of the refrigerator (it exists since the 18th century), it allows the preservation of butter by putting it away from the air. To use it, simply put salt water at the bottom of the pot (in the lower part of the butter bowl) and place the butter in its upper part (that of the lid that looks like a mushroom!). This butter, once closed, thus ensures a perfect preservation of the butter without it becoming hard as concrete or rancid (and this for several weeks!). It remains easy to spread, all in a handmade and decorative stoneware pot. Enough to bring a rustic and chic touch to your table. Dimensions: height of 10 cm with the lid (8 cm just the pot without its lid) / diameter of 11 cm / weight of about 820 grams.
