Created in 1948, it is one of the very first wall systems to offer the new idea of not cluttering the floor. Indeed, poul cadovius has been working since the 1950s on a storage system that would provide maximum functionality while allowing the atmosphere of each interior to be personalized. He was looking for a modular system, easy to assemble, which offered many combination possibilities and did not clutter the living space. Poul cadovius then invented the "royal" system: shelving with the possibility of infinite combinations of a set of standard elements. The "royal system" was a huge worldwide success, due to its lightness and modularity, allowing it to adapt to all interiors. Subsequently, he designed the "cado" model that we offer you here. The principle has been taken up by many manufacturers, but the "cado" version of poul cadovius' "royal system" is the original model, of unmatched quality.
