José wolff, born in liège on 18 february 1885 and died in liège on 23 february 1964, was a belgian painter of landscapes, portraits, still lifes and nudes. He also designed posters and was part of the walloon luminist movement. He mainly painted with oil paint on canvas, wood or paper, a watercolour by this artist is less common.
