Former apothecary/pharmacy cabinet from the 1960s. In solid oak and veneer, composed of 8 drawers (2x4) with wooden handles and two sliding shelves. We love its patina and its robustness. The interior of the drawers was painted black. It was built-in and despite the aesthetics of its facade, it is nonetheless marked by time and has suffered some damage that a cabinetmaker (or a good handyman) could forget (look closely at the photos): The 2 boxes were grouped together and screwed (original?) A wild cut was made at the rear (it was probably deeper initially) Due to the cut, it is slightly twisted and depending on the ground may require compensation for the base with a small wedge. Traces on the board, scratches (furrow) and missing veneer. Plywood on the back which is not original and space between the bottom and the sides. Damaged veneer at the bottom of one side and screwed plinth. Some drawers slide well with the exception of 3 which are less easy. 2 battens were glued to the bottom to serve as stops for the drawers. To be built in or used as is. Its undeniable charm will enhance an entrance, an office or a kitchen. Dimensions: width 81 x h74 x depth 59. Drawers: h 8.5 x width 29 x depth 43.
