Here is a completely renovated and revamped display window in an art deco style. A lot of stripping and sanding work was carried out on the furniture to remove the multiple layers of paint accumulated over the years, to start again on a clean and healthy base. The whole thing was painted in a matte dark blue then varnished for better impact protection. Please note, the color is darker in reality than in the photo. The old windows were replaced with thicker and more resistant ones. The old hinges have been replaced with new brass ones. Golden details were added to multiple places on the furniture to recall the shades of the wallpaper applied to the background. The doors are held closed by magnets, with the lock being decorative only. Due to its small size and atypical shape, it will fit perfectly as a bookcase in a small space.
