Wire glass and metal desk, terence conran, 1980s

Large desk designed by Terence Conran for Habitat in the 1980s. It consists of two L-shaped chrome-plated wire legs and a large transparent glass top. The structure is modular: the legs can be positioned vertically for use as a desk or horizontally to create a coffee table. An iconic piece of 80s design, combining simplicity and functionality. In good general condition, the top nevertheless shows signs of use as well as a chip on one edge. LP5609.
