Mosaic wall clock decorative

Handmade romain mosaic wall clock made entirely by hand. Art deco wall clock. A wall clock for aspecial decoration that includes within creativity in her design. Each over sized wall clock is as much fine art as it is a fuctional decorative timepiece. Ancient romans used mosaics to decorate their public building and private residence. Romains mosaics are constructed from geometrical shape called tesserae placed together to create the shape of figures motifs and patterns. Materials for tesserae were obtained from local sources of natural stone, marble with the additions of cut brick and pottery coloured shades of predominantly, blue, white and yellow. Diameter: 45 cm = 17.71".
