Antique teapot Terre de Fer Opaque from Sarreguemines – Blue checkerboard frieze

Elegant antique teapot from the famous Opaque manufacture of Sarreguemines, decorated with a delicate frieze of small blue tiles that gives it a lot of charm. Its generous shape and understated decoration make it a very beautiful piece, suitable for both a collection and for decorating a kitchen or dining room in a chic country style or family home. Stamped Opaque de Sarreguemines under the base. A lovely antique piece full of character that will easily find its place in a collection of earthenware or as decoration. It is in generally good condition. There is a hairline crack on the handle (see photos), but it remains perfectly stable and solid, without hindering its use.
