Louis XV silk bed

Louis XV style double bed in grey-green lacquered wood. Headboard and footboard with scrolls decorated with molded and carved foliage and gilded flowers. Side rails with molded and carved floral bouquets. Feet and apron with carved foliage bouquets. The bed has been reupholstered in silk lampas with tulip foliage motifs and matching silk piping (italian manufacture). Beautiful work from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Beautiful wear to the patina and gilding. Old restorations. Good overall condition. The yellow shades present in the photos are optical effects. For a 190cm X 140cm bed base and mattress.
