Louis Philippe chest of drawers in walnut and burr walnut

Large chest of drawers with 4 dovetail-assembled drawers. The 4 drawer fronts are made of burr walnut, 1 cm thick board. Each drawer is equipped with a functional lock, a chiseled pewter lock entry and 2 matching handles, floral motifs. The top is a 18 mm thick black/grey marble with bevelled front corners to perfectly match the shape of the piece of furniture. The front base is covered with wood in the louis philippe style. Beautiful and authentic quality chest of drawers, traditional 19th century manufacture. Perfectly functional piece of furniture; the drawers slide easily, the 4 locks are operational, 1 key provided. In very good general condition considering its age; traces of use on the marble top, some impact marks on the burr walnut, some woodworm holes without impact on the structure, healthy and solid piece of furniture. Interior of drawers: width 91 cm / height 10 or 14 cm / depth 41 cm.
