With a 50s inspiration, the optima desk embodies an approach that is both functional and aesthetic. Its mahogany veneer reveals the richness and depth of the wood, playing with light to accentuate its warm nuances. This choice of material refers to the sophisticated interiors of the time, while offering a timeless finish that adapts to modern spaces. The suspended box, with its drawers with metal handles, seems to float, visually lightening the room. The asymmetry created between the volume of the box and the opening under the top brings a subtle dynamic, reinforcing the impression of lightness and balance. The legs, designed as simple vertical panels, extend this feeling of weightlessness. They play with perspective to give the illusion of a suspended piece of furniture. Optima has a strong identity, where minimalism and sophistication come together in the same intention. Through this desk, I wanted to capture the essence of mid-century design by reinterpreting it with a touch of modernity. Optima stands out as a timeless piece, combining geometric rigor and warmth of materials.
