Italian mid century arc floor lamp, 1970s

A large, solid wood arc floor lamp was designed some time in the late 1970s in Italy. The exquisite rarity of this design lies in its use of organically bent, most likely, elm wood stained to a teak color. The overall size is H: 173 / W: 138 / D: 60 cm. This aesthetic finds affinity with renowned designers such as Carlo Mollino, Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi, Max Ingrand, and Angelo Lelii, who also embraced the organic design philosophy. A unique feature of this lamp is the original cable with a switch with the function of adjusting the light intensity. The shade is handmade of cotton strips wrapped around a metal frame. This lamp would become a focal point in every contemporary room. Additional information: The lampshade size is 17 cm in height and 60 cm in diameter, The cord length is 200 cm, The switch is 90 cm from the base, It requires E27 bulb. The lamp has been restored. The wood has been professionally rejuvenated, but it bores some minos signs of use. The original switch and cord have been checked. Overall, it remains in very good condition with a new handmade shade.
