2 fruit compotier or cake support made in d'onnaing nord france circa 1827 to 1894 in with floral motifs blue and white ceramic. Dimensions 6 cm h 22 cm dx 11.5 cm h 22 cm founded on february 2, 1821 by the brothers ferdinand-louis de bousies, charles de bousies (vicomte de rouveroy), their cousin the knight adolphe de bousies and baron frédéric de sécus, the onnaing earthenware factory was initially a new establishment of the belgian factory in nimy, intended to circumvent customs duties[1]. From 1827, the factory was bought several times and in 1894 became the société anonyme de la faïencerie d'onnaing.
