1976 “VF” Folding chair by Gijs Bakker for Castelijn, Netherlands

A lovely folding chair model “vf” designed by gijs bakker and manufactured by castelijn in the netherlands in 1976. The piece is made of beautiful quality beech wood with a lovely light brown colour. The seat and back are made of rush, fitting really nicely to the design and creating a beautiful harmony and modern style. It has a beautiful rounded shape with an impressive seating comfort and giving the piece a fantastic style! The folding mechanism allows easy movability and storage and makes this piece a nice and versatile addition to many kinds of decor! It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. It has a small damage to the seat webbing, as shown in photos.
