Vintage fine porcelain café/tea service from Japan - Bird decoration

Authentic vintage Japanese coffee or tea service (dating from the 1950s), made of fine iridescent/pearlised porcelain known as "egg shell". Each piece is entirely hand-painted with a delicate design of charming little birds on flowering branches. The borders and handles display stunning bluish and violet reflections. Stamped in red "JAPAN" with the symbol of crossed arrows under the base (see photo). Ideal for completing an existing service (replacement pieces) or for a retro and poetic table decoration. The lot includes 3 pieces: 1 large jug (teapot/coffee pot) with its lid, 1 sugar bowl with its lid, 1 milk jug/creamer. Condition: Very good overall condition for its age. No major cracks or chips. The colours and gilding are still quite fresh.
