Pair of vintage bedside tables made from solid oak, as evidenced by the visible grain on the tops and traditional joinery. Very good quality of craftsmanship. Each bedside table features a drawer at the top and a door at the bottom opening onto a storage shelf. The door is adorned with a moulded panel in the shape of a gendarme's hat. Signed by Jean Laïck, a renowned cabinetmaker based in Dol-de-Bretagne, Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany). This stamp is a guarantee of fine workmanship and French artisanal authenticity.
