The russian artist and avant-gardist el lissitzky was one of the most agile and imaginative mentors of constructivism in the early 20th century. The geometric elements in his works were style-defining for the entire epoch. De-stijl and bauhaus were strongly influenced by his work. El lissitzky created this conical club chair in 1928 for the soviet pavilion of the international cologne printing and press exhibition "pressa". Very good used condition. Minimal traces of use.
