4 Sarreguemines and Digoin Scossais soup plates

Beautiful set of 4 sarreguemines and digoin ecossais soup plates green tartan plates with gold edging this is a wonderful set of 4 plates dating from the 1940s in the magnificent digoin sarreguemines scottish pattern. This scottish design is in tartan right around the plate and is very unusual. The plates are very rare for their time and the colors and style are more modern than they appear. Perfect for serving meals or just a wonderful display piece. The green and gold give a very festive feel to these plates and they would be just as wonderful serving summer meals in the garden! In very good condition, just 2 small chips on the edge of a plate (see photos) - in its found juice, taken from the attic (see photos) we also have 5 dinner plates and 4 dessert plates from the same collections on our store.
