The cantilever chair follows Mies van der Rohe's tubular steel silhouette, with a continuous curved chrome frame and grey leather seat and backrest, finished with visible stitching and stud detailing along the edges. Beside it, the height-adjustable glass-top side table takes its cue from Eileen Gray's iconic design, with a polished chrome frame, round glass top, and the sliding locking mechanism that lets the height be adjusted to suit an armchair, sofa, or bed. Both pieces are later editions made after the original designs. They show honest signs of use: light surface marks and small scuffs on the chrome (visible in the detail photos). Structurally sound and fully functional, with the table's height mechanism operating smoothly.
