Mezza Luna floor lamp by Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper Pollux, Italy, 1970's

Floor lamp model mezza luna designed in 1974 by the italian bruno gecchelin. It was produced in the following years by the firm skipper and pollux in milan. The design consists of a chrome-plated tubular steel structure, a marble base and an adjustable head lacquered in white/beige. In the edge of the screen there is an adjustable switch that allows us to vary the intensity of the light. The shaft is adjustable from 180cm to 197cm, so that we can also play with the height. The head rotates on itself to be able to point the light in any direction. It is in an impeccable state of conservation with all its original pieces, being able to present very slight marks according to the antiquity of the piece. Pure italian design, visual lightness and the best understood minimalism. We have two units available with slight differences in color and marble base.
