Beautiful Parisian wardrobe in solid walnut (early 20th century).

Very elegant Parisian wardrobe in solid walnut from the early 20th century. This is a high-end production from the era: the wood is already noble and expensive - the construction is solid, even the side parts and shelves; the finishes, finally, including the hinges with ornaments that continue onto the doors, create a striking contrast with the wood. The fluting on the uprights and the relief rosettes on the ends of the uprights, which correspond to the sculpted friezes, are also noteworthy. Finally, one immediately notices the glazed panels of the two double doors: they are all independent and bevelled - and the bevel of the four upper panels is additionally dynamic, as it follows the "spider web" design of the door. The original lock is a two-point brass lock, which closes perfectly with its original key. Inside, there are four original solid shelves, with moulded backs (once again, a beautiful finish). The sides are therefore panelled in solid wood, and one can observe further efforts at the bottom, with the frieze of sculpted finials and the beautiful turned wooden feet. In short, apart from some signs of wear (three small dents on the cornice, which are not bothersome), it has remained in superb condition. Solid, stable, and ready for immediate use.
