Large natural fan coral on wooden base, Height 47 cm

Natural fan coral component, with fine openwork branches and a delicately serrated structure, mounted on a circular turned wooden base. This specimen, probably belonging to the genus gorgonia, has beautiful cream tones with subtle nuances of purplish pink and ochre at the base. The whole measures approximately 47 cm high (including the base) and a width of approximately 25 cm. The coral is in good condition, with some cracks and openwork areas that highlight its authenticity and marine origin. The wooden base, patinated by time, remains stable and harmonious, with some discreet signs of use. An ideal decorative piece for a display case, a naturalist collection or a seaside atmosphere.
