Hello, here is an old enamelled stoneware jar. It contained rum and was intended to supply the british army in the 1940s. It is in a very good state of conservation. These jars were produced between 1847 and 1950 by the famous pearsons chesterfield pottery. When the english retreated, the depot located in normandy was pillaged by the inhabitants.
