Pair of armchairs from the Louis XVI period

Pair of very elegant convertible armchairs back medallion louis XVI period. Grey moulded lacquered wood, resting on 4 fluted and rough tapered legs. Belt decorated with pearls and decorated in the center with a floral cartouch. Back decorated with a bouquet of flowers and pearls. Lacquer jumps, small accidents, wear and tear. Never restored, solid, they are about 240 years old! Horsehair trim in good condition, comfortable armchairs. The upholstery fabric dates from the 1960s, wear, stains.
