Pretty pair of wall lights, formerly for piano, in louis XVI style. Manufactured in the second half of the 19th century. The light arms pivot and are removable (see penultimate photo). Bronze construction. Original gilding, very good condition. The wall part is decorated with sentimental attributes: quiver and flame torch. The sconces are openwork and decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. They are stamped l. Pinet (see last photo), for the manufacturer "léon pinet", a company created in 1840 which initially manufactured metal reeds for organs, then it diversified while remaining in the music theme. She installed single or double candlesticks on the pianos on each side of the partition which allowed it to be illuminated. They are not electrified and not pierced to pass electrical wires. Note, 2 defects: a repair and a deformation (see photos with blue circles). Dimensions: height: 15.50 cm maximum width: 40.00 cm maximum depth: 21.00 cm total weight: 1.20 kg(s).
