Description
This small rectangular box is characterized by the richness of the work of its wood. The four-leaf walnut veneer top is surrounded by a green stained wood net, followed by a rosewood frame, then decorative friezes, cedar magnifying glass and finally mahogany. Each of the four faces of this box is made of cedar magnifying glass, highlighted by the same stained wood net. The lid mounted on three hinges is provided with a kneeling compass maintaining its opening, and has a metal clasp in perfect working order. A beautiful storage accessory with a simple and timeless look. **** Period: early twentieth. Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Waxed finish. Size: length: 27.5 cm. Width: 16.5 cm.
