Thonet bistro chair, model A937, 1920s

Thonet bistro chair, model a937, which can be found in the catalog of the 1920s. It has the original thonet label, this particular one began to be used after 1922. The chair has been authenticated by mail by the thonet house. The a937 model is quite unusual, with less rounded shapes and a flat back. Both the backrest and the seat have geometric and floral reliefs. The construction system of the corners of the seat is beautiful, attached detail photo. The chair is perfectly structured and maintains all its original elements. Needs some cleaning and some restoration on the backrest, because there is some raised plywood and in the back there is a missing easily replaceable material. I have six chairs in stock in my store, each one with its peculiarities detailed in the description and with different prices depending on its condition. The chair measures 41 cm wide, 42 cm deep and 84 cm high. The seat height is 47 cm. Weighs 3.7kg.
