Daybed / Modular Desk Furnished in Vintage Blond Oak 1950

Retro bed-desk unit that can easily be transformed into a bench. Designer: pierre & camille david publisher: meubles david, (which later became polymeubles editions) made in france. Reference: n°100, patent filed in 1949. Furniture whose patent was filed on june 1, 1949 only 3 weeks before that of marcel gascoin, the "meublit" has often been wrongly attributed to him. It has a small bookcase with shelves on the upper part that opens with 2 sliding doors, a lockable foldaway bed and a flap forming a desk on the front. The bed unit is in good condition, (mattress, cover and cushion not provided). Dimensions: length 202 cm / height 116 cm / width 37 cm. Bed: length 190 cm / width 80 cm.
