Pair of Reticulated Porcelain Trinket Dishes

Two charming vintage german ceramic dishes from the 1940’s. Designed as trinket dishes, primarily for a dressing table, they have reticulated or pierced edges, a traditional technique, with gilded decoration and lovely floral motifs. They are in great vintage condition, with no damage at all. The glaze and colours are good and bright, whilst the gilding is worn in places, through age and use. Dimensions 23.5 by 14.5cm and 15cm by 9cm.
