Old sandstone bottle 1868

Old sandstone bottle, handmade. Height: 32cm. Label in very good condition, marked 1868. Erven lucas bols het lootsje amsterdam. In 1575, the bols family established their 't lootsje distillery on the rozengracht in amsterdam and began distilling liqueurs. The first flavors are cumin, cardamom and orange. This bottle was produced until the end of the 19th century, in the early years of the 20th and more than likely gin content. Ideal in decoration or diverted in vase.
