“Solar Eruption” coffee table by Guy Lefevre, circa 1970

"Solar eruption" coffee table by Guy Lefèvre in wood and lacquered melamine, 1970s. The base was restored by our art furniture restorer partner. The original veneer has been retained and returned, the chips of veneer are now under the top, not visible, and the base of the leg is therefore in excellent condition. The chipboard structure of the foot has been completely replaced. The table is stable and solid. Some slight defects have been masked, see photos. The tray has several superficial scratches, some more significant. The table is supplied with a glass top perfectly adapted to the dimensions of the table, it has some scratches.
