This magnificent antique candlestick is made of solid silver. It is a work of the swiss goldsmith a. Manz. It bears the swiss silver hallmarks: the federal coat of arms, the a.manz master's mark and the weevil import mark. Dating from the 19th century, it has an elegant column shape surrounded by heart-shaped stripe and water leaf friezes. Dimensions: 14.5 cm X 7 cm and 21 cm in total height with the socket. It was mounted as a lamp and can be used again as a candlestick if necessary by removing the socket from the tube. In good general condition, I note traces of use and oxidation, as well as scratches and dents.
