Vallauris ceramic frying pan – turquoise lava glaze – 1950s/1960s description: authentic vallauris ceramic frying pan, dating from the 1950s-1960s, in a rather sought-after brutalist style. Deep brown glazed interior, exterior with textured “lava” decoration in shades of turquoise, brown and mustard yellow. Signature intaglio under the base: “vallauris – fait main”. An emblematic piece of vallauris craftsmanship, halfway between a utilitarian object and a decorative sculpture. Perfect as a collector’s item, a decorative bowl or used as a trinket dish.
