Jumping chest of drawers with 3 drawers in solid walnut, Restoration style.

Three-drawer commode in the style of the Restoration or Louis-Philippe, crafted from solid walnut with clean lines and elaborate hardware (mid-19th century). Perfectly suited for a bedroom, living room, or entrance hall. Its antique patina and understated structure allow it to blend seamlessly into both classic and contemporary interiors. This 19th-century French commode is distinguished by a charming combination of Empire-style lion head pull handles and Louis XV-style rocaille lock entries. The bronze lock entries, intricately decorated with asymmetrical designs, feature a stylised shell at the top, foliage scrolls on the right side, and a bouquet of finely chiselled small flowers on the left side. Each lock has its key and is original and functional. Please note (see photos): originally, there is a small chip of wood on the front left side of the top, and the left back panel is partially detached from its groove due to a significant attack by woodworm. The piece is sound, solid, stable, and perfectly usable as is.
