Low buffet in walnut from the Louis XV period. Charming low buffet from the Louis XV period, dating from the 18th century. It opens at the front with two drawers in the belt, adorned with their lock entries and iron pull knobs, above two moulded doors with elegant shaped panels. The doors are fitted with their original long iron lock entries, also known as lace fittings. The frame around the doors is made of oak; this technique was used to give rigidity to the entire buffet. The uprights are decorated with fluting and projections. The lower crossbar, richly carved with a leafy decoration, rests on curved feet characteristic of the Louis XV period. The top displays a beautiful old patina, and the whole piece offers a warm honey tone that highlights the grain of the walnut. This piece of furniture has retained all its character with its old hardware and original patina. It will naturally find its place in an old home as well as in a contemporary interior seeking an authentic piece.
