'Magic Box' desk by Leif Elvestad, Norway circa 1965

Designed by scandinavian designer leif elvestad in the 1960s, this "magic box" is a norwegian reinterpretation of the famous magic box desk originally created by the swiss duo mummenthaler & meier. Its sleek design cleverly conceals a fold-out desk, multiple shelves, storage compartments and a drawer. The blue lamp adds a refined aesthetic touch to the whole. Made entirely of beech wood, this piece perfectly combines sophistication and practicality. Norway, circa 1965.
