Burnt wooden trinket bowl Shou Sugi Ban

A tree branch cut and then dug around wood in a single block of massive beech, then burned with a blowtorch according to the japanese technique of shou sugi ban, then varnished so as not to get dirty. A renaissance for this tree, which now stages everything it welcomes. Each piece is unique with its own combustion and its own dimensions resulting from the branch.
