Description
Art Deco armchair attributed to "de Coene Frères", made in Kortrijk in Belgium in the 1930s. Reupholstered in ecru French terry fabric. Woodwork airbrushed and re-stained with wax oil. During the 1920s-1930s, de Coene Frères became one of the most important manufacturers of art deco furniture in Europe, with customers around the world. The company closed in 1975, but its legacy as a furniture manufacturer continues to be celebrated around the world. No stamp.
